Inches (Rowing Shell for Sale)

I’m pretty much hooked on this video right now. I’m not sure if I’m obsessed now with water, with selling my rowing shell (hint hint) or just with life: “the 6 inches in front of my face” as it were. OK, it’s probably not about selling my rowing shell, but I have to find some excuse to post this here on iGearList.
Anyways. Maybe it’s a latent post-rowing longing to be behind an oar? Thoughtfully rekindled by a recent series of 5:50am near-puke ergometer efforts. Maybe it’s a pre-football season longing (recall, this is Al Pachino’s famous speech from Any Given Sunday). Or perhaps this is me getting caught up in some pre-Outward Bound intensity and the fact that sometimes I do miss rocks by mere inches out there (of course, sometimes I smack’m).

Best Inspirational talk I have ever heard, I am ready to go, but I am an old guy who just want s to row again to get the feel or the rush of a good shell and the water in the early morning.
